London breeze

Day 2

I have started with a early morning breakfast meeting nearby the hotel. Just a casual meeting with some local people. Too much of topics to talked blax3...business talked forwad was soo ambitious! and just after the meeting is over, we took the underground tube to the Green Park where I can grab something from the Hardrock Cafe. Seems the shop and the restaurant will open only at 11.30am, we took a slow walked entering the park nearby the station. I have no idea what is hiding around this huge park but no harm to enjoy the exploration within the beautiful drizzling and freezing weather.

Upon reaching the middle of the park, I can see a huge greeny park connecting this place to another's. We decided to move slowly follow those people that heading to no wheres but I believe there must be something out there else people won't be heading at the same way. And yes, we ended up at Buckingham Palace! The house of the Queen of London, the place that I have seen in tv most of the time. The place are  facing a huge statues about the history of some important people in England. Well, I'm not good in history although remembering stories about peoples but one thing I know the place was damn huge, classy and superb clean.

I never have a time to browse about England before I left earlier. From what I can see the palace is one of the attractive place in London. I can see there's a bunch of tourist from over the world are mingle around the palace to enjoy the beauty of the architectures. I might say this place is way too expensive! But I was unable catch 'change guard' moment seems too much of people are standing at the fence surrounding hoping the chances to watch themselves. I don't bother at all all those. With some photo been taken we take walk to Old Park Lane. This is where the Hardrock was located since 1971, I'm not a fan of Hardrock but I just want to have a chance to visit myself and see it myself! Like people's alway say better experience than heard about it for a million times! Hehe I started browsing for some goods at the Rock shop. As usual, finding something for me is the must in any Hardrock I have been...well, I should be with you here at this time! Sighh ;'( I might be insane thinking of you while I'm here! Damn it!

Time over time, we headed with lunch in Hardrock Cafe next to the Rock shop. I'm not too choosy or too picky in term of selecting my meals. As long as there's a butterflies in my tummy singing I'm there for eating. Hehe simple rules apply, just don't eat the pinky pies! We have spent an hours to enjoyed the huge portion of foods and listening to the music. We going back to the Rock shop to redeem our gifts and also a tour to visit their small classic museum underground of the shop.

Done with Hardrock, we going back to the station where we came earlier. Seems we have a daily tube ticket so better utilise it as much as we could. Searching around the nearer place to visit, we found a British Museum which located nearby the station. This time I'm not entering the museum, wonder if that worth to spend for the entrance ticket. Again I'm not really into people's stories and yet a historical collector neither. I just ran out of time to catch many things in a day so we skip it.

Before we ended up the day, we dropped by to Leicester Square. People called it the entertainment streets, where you can find too many things as the same place. A mini Times Square look a like! the place promise you with a bunch of restaurants, movies, casinos, musics, shops and peoples. Located at the Central of London, this streets was so alive and will never die from crowds every single day.! Bottom line, it's too noisy! I don't like it.

Leisure time is over, time to go back to the hotel for some work to do. Wait till tomorrow then, perhaps more to come again.
