Day 4
Morning from London City! I have to get myself ready for early morning meeting in Margaret Street. The weather was cold and windy in Bayswater. I make myself a heavy breakfast in the room, it's Malaysian instant Brahim's nasi goreng kampung! The taste not so bad and I didn't get any bellyache like most instant foods I ate. I know this is not good for my diet but I better start to finish those foods that I bring together instead of waste it. It's okay to have a big and heavy breakfast today at least I could skip my lunch.
Meeting has finished as per scheduled, we are done here. Without any delay we manage to excuse ourselves straight to Old Trafford. From Queensway station to Oxford Circus again we change tube to London Euston, journey to Piccadilly Station took us about two hours journey. From the Piccadilly Station we need to take Manchester Metrolink to Etihad Campus, this is where the Manchester United Stadium was located.
Ten minute walking distance we ended up at Manchester United Stadium. The stadium was damn huge with magnificent glass entrance! We decided to join the tour with some other group of people, we bought £18.00 ticket for the entrance fee for each. Yeah it's slightly expensive but experience much priceless! Personally, I am not interested in soccer neither a fanatics fan! Badly, I know nothing about football, but surely I love the red worrier colour of the Manchester United! I found the tour is very interesting, I think it helps if you're a fan obviously but it's pretty impressive to others too I'd say, especially when you walk out of the tunnel! that's truly special moment. The changing room were another highlight, so many historic speeches must have happened in there! The trophy room were amazing too, there so full! The stadium were so huge and clean.
Behind the scenes at the biggest and best! This is really a huge club ever! Would love highly recommend to Man United fans or football fans themselves. They have huge merchandise store towards the end of the tour, and I managed get myself some souvenir and shirt to bring back home with sweet memories. Bit on a expensive side but worth a visit..!
Every side of the stadium was awesome, nothing much I could say. They seems like the greatest and most expensive football club I guess. Before we left the place, there's a counter beside the corner where they being giving away to everybody a tour certificate with our name on it. That's pretty cool though! Well, bottom line you don't even need to be interested in football to appreciate it!
Genuinely it's truly enjoyable day! I love it so much. Along the way back to Etihad Campus station we stopped at Subway to grab some meal before we stranded back in the train. With the limited time left, we can't go anywhere anymore as the weather are getting cold out here. Non of us able to stand longer. We are Malaysian that living in the hot weather pot not in the freezing fridge!
